Backstory

Kal was born in a time long forgotten, as a sentinel of sorts, made to prevent humanity for wandering too far into the dark without protection. Or from the dark wandering in to civilization. He is the border between the two, and even to this day, he refuses to allow cross mingling of humanity with the supernatural unless they already have a foot in or they find their own way to squirm past his patrols. But, he wasn't always so powerful that the world could be so forgiving. Early in his conception, multiple wars were fought in the supernatural world to try and tear him down from his post, or to uplift him and make him the ruler of the supernatural world, considering his status as the first supernatural being. Of course, he rejected both ideas and fought against them, taking many lives that he wished he could spare in this time. Of course, it wasn't all doom and gloom for him. During these wars, humanity prospered and thrived, making advances so far and so fast that even Kal was impressed since the people he wanted to protect could now easily protect themselves from all but the most dire of circumstances. So, a truce was formed. No supernatural being would reveal what they were to a human unless the human revealed they knew first, and they would try and mingle with humanity in the most seamless way possible. So now, he simply has to look in on the humans, who know nothing of this treaty, and will be attempting to invade these spaces without realizing what they are doing.

INHERENT ABILITIES

  • Enhanced Physical Traits: Kal is able to tank most things that would kill a normal person, and more, having fought in multiple wars on the supernatural sides of what humans don't know. In these wars, he was an integral part of whatever side he was one. He has survived mortar fire, a direct shot from a tank at point blank range, has displayed strength enough to bend steel with ease, speed enough to prevent him from being caught by infrared lasers, and more. He is far above the peaks of most supernatural species, with no known weakness, but even he has a limit.

  • Endless Arms: Kal isn't made up of a normal body like most things, instead being a bundle of endless arms that he can use at any point, each holding a knife in its hand and having an eye on the back of it that gives him three hundred and sixty degree field of view.

LEARNED ABILITIES

  • Knife Fighting: Kal is a menace in up close fighting, able to fight with his blades with surprising dexterity and accuracy despite his large size, to the point that he is considered one of the best blade wielders in the world.
